Thirty-five years in commercial banking has provided the opportunity to assess the financial and operational performance of thousands of businesses covering a multitude of industries.

Significant experience in front line sales, operations, and executive management helping organizations achieve phenomenal growth with strong business cultures brings an expertise in strategic planning, business development, administration, operations, and change management that is known for achieving "best in class" results.

Throughout my career I've developed sales and marketing programs that exceeded goals for expanded client relationships; created policies, standards, processes, and risk management programs; and designed company reporting and dashboards to manage strategies, risk, and profit.

Successfully integrating multiple cultures from business acquisitions provided for a strong consistent culture. As a coach and trainer, I've delivered "The 360 Degree Leader" training program to cross functional management groups and conducted quarterly cross functional "Town Hall" meetings for an effective continuous improvement process.

In the Business World

In approximate equal parts, my career of supporting and leading commercial banks in serving businesses clients, has included business development, administration and operations, and executive management. I most recently retired as Corporate Chief Credit Officer from First Financial Bank, serving Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana with additional nationwide product lines. This provided for involvement in numerous acquisition due diligence efforts and the integration of cultures, policies, and processes necessary for the successful completion of these acquisitions.

As an independant community bank president, we re-energized a seventy-five year old commercial bank by leading the team through a market repositioning; implementing updated technology, policies, processes, and systems; and building an effective business development program that allowed the organization to achieve their objectives.

Business client interactions should always be focused on performance improvement, believing that the market differentiator is helping businesses make money or save money through collaborative problem and needs identification, and the design of appropriate solutions.

Richard is a resident of the Greater Cincinnati area. He currently serves on the Board of Directors, and as the Council Training Chair, for the Dan Deard Council of the Boy Scouts of America, and on the Finance Committee at St. Bernadette Parish. He is an active member of ACG (Association for Corporate Growth), fei (Financial Executives International), the Goering Center, Clermont County Chamber of Commerce, Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, West Chester Chamber Alliance, Arts Wave, and the Metrpolitan Club.
